Working on the Cavalry

War of the Roses.

Some images of my new War of The Roses collection. I will be putting this game on as a demo at a few shows this year, using the 'To the Strongest' rules by Simon Miller. Figures painted by Jack Glanville and myself.

Command

I have added a command and ammunition carrying mule to my smal bur growing Caesarian army.

The second cohort.

 The second unit all finished and based up.

 Fielded as 3 x 16man units with a 120mm frontage for games of "To the strongest" using 150mm grids.

Fielded as 2 x 24 man units with a 180mm frontage for games on a 200mm grid.

Think I will treat myself to a command base next.

The story so far...
I'm now onto the third base for the second unit. I must say the Foundry and Warlord figures fit well together. As the Warlord figures are plastic, I can chop and change parts here and there, allowing for me to continue with the sense of movement. For Thursday nights game I hope to have two units and a command base done.

I have been enjoying painting these Wargames Foundry and Warlord Games figures for games of "To the Strongest". 180mm frontage made up of 3 bases.

Dutch Blue Guards
